Arsenal ‘Move Close’ To Signing £25m Striker

Arsenal are in pole position to sign Mario Balotelli after several reports on Monday night linked the Gunners with a £25million bid.

The reports suggest that a bid of such a figure would be enough to convince AC Milan to sell, a club who are keen to cut their wage bill down. Balotelli seems to have been around forever already, but he is still just 23 years old and has an impressive record at the top level. He scored Italy’s winner in the World Cup and has already played for Manchester City and both Milan sides in the Champions League.

The concern with Balotelli comes with his attitude. Arsene Wenger will be confident he can curb any issues, but it is hard to judge with such a character. The player himself though has recently suggested he is keen to drop his bad boy image and has recently proposed to his partner.

The Mirror suggest that Balotelli is keen on a return to the Premier League and reports in Italy recently suggested Arsene Wenger would do ‘anything’ to sign Balotelli.
